VERNITA GREEN AKA “COPPERHEAD”
Leslie Patricelli lives and works in beautiful Hailey, Idaho. She makes space to draw and write children’s books at her messy kitchen table by spreading her arms wide and pushing all the random stuff aside until the table shows through. When she’s not working or keeping up with a houseful of kids, she might be skiing on Baldy with her handsome ski instructor husband, or out on the Nordic trails with her shepherd mix, aptly named Shep. She keeps Eve—her alterego—in a messy corner of her garage behind some broken tent poles.
