Words by Bret Osswald

I have had a camera in my hands since I was twelve. My father founded a local sports newspaper in Pennsylvania, called the Pococo Youth Sports Extra. He wore many hats to keep the paper going, and I was quickly enrolled as his ‘staff photographer’. Over a decade of working with my father, I got the chance to photograph almost every sport imaginable. My photography tenure continued as I went off to college for Graphic Design, Photography, and Art. I moved to Park City in 2009 and started working as a private photographer and videographer for Rossmiller Photography at Park City Mountain Resort. Three years later I decided to branch off and create my own freelance business.  Photography has led me to experience new places and personalize the way I see landscapes, wildlife, and captured moments through the lens. My father ignited my entrepreneurial spirit and showed me the ropes around a camera, and since then my passion for the art has sparked into a career that provides excitement and the daily motivation to pursue what I love.
